Sunsets in San Diego  are an event. I does not matter what the time of year people stop what they are doing to take in the sunset. Those at the beach bars have been know to cheer and applause when the sun hits the horizon.

Tower 23 is a luxury venue for San Diego destination weddings.

Monday I hung out with 30 photographers and  several models down in Mission beach for the first San Diego Shootout/Get together. A nice way to meet new people and try out different lighting techniques/break in new gear.

1/50 @ 2.8 1600 ISO- w/70-200mm hand-held! No time for tripods. I used a ledge up on the balcony as a support for the lens 1/50 @ 4.5 ISO:1600 Canon 5D w/Canon 24-70 2.8L (Not too Grainy for 1600 ISO) “Look mad and serious, you are millionaire rockstars!” More music fun Saturday night shooting the Stepping Feet Band at the Belly Up in Solana Beach! They are an excellent Dave Matthews tribute band. Shooting concerts is quite the challenge as light changes by the split second.
